The executive coaching programme was for a six-month period, during which five coaching sessions were delivered by Elaine Akester, as an associate executive coach.
In agreement with the HR sponsors, as well as objectives connected to strategic business goals, one of the client’s primary area of focus was in connection with his leadership brand presence and impact. He believed that working on this aspect would benefit his leadership effectiveness and the business.
An exploration of his career highlights and low-lights took place, which enabled him to understand where and how he had been impacted positively and negatively by other leaders, managers and colleagues’ behaviours over the life cycle of his career to date.
The client explored his own leadership brand, style and impact, which was blended with the output of a Hogan Leadership Profile. The coaching sessions were delivered utilising a wraparound approach, reflection note and contact between sessions, once every four to six weeks over a six month period. By the end of this time the client acknowledged he had much greater awareness of his leadership brand, presence and especially on his impact and influence with people in the business.
